Rome in Nero's Time; the city is in a state of emergency. The generals of the Praetorian Guard, Nero's closest allies, are refusing to serve him and there are also fierce arguments in senate over loyalty to the Caesar.
The Senate and the Guard are embroiled in fierce arguments, the people are divided.

Many roads lead to Rome, whether you decide to use powerful cards to protect the power and victory points you have, or instead prefer to skillfully pull the strings behind the scenes. Whoever succeeds in using connections and manages to play their cards will at the end deserve their victor's laurels.
