We played this game at GenCon with almost no instruction and it's just as easy as normal Ascension except that sometimes light has power and sometimes dark has power. This is a fun Deckbuilding game that I'd recommend.

Ascension: Realms Unraveled introduces Multifaction cards which can belong to more than one faction, unlocking myriad combinations of powers and abilities! The new Multi-Unite keyword allows players to earn huge rewards for playing many Heroes of the same faction in a single turn!

Ascension: Realms Unraveled also expands upon the Transform mechanic from Ascension: Darkness Unleashed, allowing players to upgrade their cards permanently!
